How pricing works
Ahiuwa's own prices are set in US dollars. You pay the equivalent in your currency at the day's exchange rate, rounded up to a whole unit, and the exact amount is shown before you pay. Payments go through our payment partners' secure pages; your bank may add its own charges.

- Creating an account, browsing and searching.
- Posting listings (within any ad limit for the category), wishes and stories.
- Chatting, following, commenting and saving.
- Email, phone and identity verification.
- Selling: sellers and invoice senders receive the full price. Nothing is taken from what they earn.
Buyer protection and transfer fees
Every payment through Ahiuwa goes through a payment partner that charges for it, so the person paying adds a small fee on top of the price. On protected payments it is called buyer protection: it pays for the secure payment and for holding your money until you confirm delivery. On friends and family transfers, which carry no protection, it is a transfer fee. The exact amount is shown on the ad and before you pay.

These are the usual rates. They can be different in your country, and for some product categories. A payment that arrives too late to buy anything, such as a second payment for the same order, is returned in full. See Getting paid.
