What a wish is

A wish is the opposite of a listing: instead of saying what you sell, you say what you are looking for. Sellers who have it can message you, and friends who know where to find it can point you there.

Wishes are short-lived on purpose. Each one is removed automatically 7 days after you post it, so the wish feed only shows what people still need.

Posting a wish

  1. Open Create and choose Wish.
  2. Describe what you want — the model, condition, size or anything that matters (up to 1,000 characters). Add photos if they help.
  3. Optionally add product details — a category, subcategory and a budget range — so the right sellers find it.
  4. Tag up to 5 people who might know where to find it. They get a notification.
  5. Choose who can see it, and post.

Wishes can only be posted from the app.

In the app: Create tab → Wish

Who sees your wish

People I follow
The default. Your wish goes to the people you follow — the sellers and friends most likely to help.
Public
Anyone who can see wishes may see it.
Only me
A private note to yourself.

If your account is private, the choices are your accepted followers or only you. You can change the default under Post defaults.

Only verified people can see other people’s wishes

To keep wishes away from scammers, you must have verified your identity before you can see anyone else's wishes. You can always see your own.

Answering someone’s wish

The wish button on Home opens the wish feed. If you have what someone is looking for, message them and send the listing in the chat. Keep the usual care: Ahiuwa does not check what is promised in a chat, so use checkout or an invoice if money is paid before delivery.

In the app: Home → wish button in the header
